This is a class blog for Dr. Kristen Alley Swain's journalism students who produce video stories about sustainability issues in the Oxford-Ole Miss community.
The video is very good. There are some great shots that keep the viewer interested. It will be great once the other interviews are added.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I would suggest is to add titles or captions as per the rubric. Also, some of the footage at the end of the interviews could be cut unless you plan on talking over it.

The video is good. I would suggest lowering the music while the person being interviewed speaks. It is a bit distracting otherwise. Also, captions need to be used.

I thought the video quality was pretty good. The interview was engaging, and hopefully the other two sources will be just as good. There was a little too much b-roll that seemed to go on for too long.
ReplyDeleteVery well shot. The b-roll footage is great, but the quiet moments get lengthy. i think you could add some music or voiceover during these times to hold the viewer's attention. more interview sources would be helpful as well.
ReplyDeleteTake out a couple seconds of the b-roll the silence got a little awkward but otherwise it was great. the next two interview sources will make it complete.
ReplyDeleteI thought the vide was good! It was hard to hear the talking because of the cars though. A couple more shots or pictures would be a great add on!
ReplyDeleteNeed two more interview sources. All sources need name/title captions. Some b-roll clips a bit too long. Needs an authoritative source and a unique focus - not just comments about how some students ride the bus. May need to bump audio level up on voice.
